Fundraising: BMORE Sculpture
Archaeologists have been investigating the Takalik Abaj site for over a century; however the Takalik Abaj Monumental Sculpture Project is the first to create a fully documented and comprehensive study of the work. The Project will facilitate independent and collaborative research of the pre-Columbian site. Using the most accurate and complete documentation methods, AIST and its collaborators plan to produce the best possible historical documentation that can be shared among the international research community. return to full slide show
The Challenge:
The University of South Florida invited Direct Dimensions to travel to Guatemala and join them on a finca where the Takalik Abaj site is located. While there Direct Dimensions would have to capture 32 of the ancient monuments at a high resolution without touching and disturbing their integrity. return to full slide show The Solution:
