Project Management

For more complex projects Direct Dimensions offers project management services in order to provide our customers "one stop shop" solutions. Our projects range from simple scanning projects that require less than a days work, to complex projects that require 1000's of man hours, involve multiple technology platforms, logistics, and outside resources. We work with every client to arrive at a custom solution. When applicable, Direct Dimensions will serve as a general contractor and subcontract various steps of a project to control the overall deliverable and schedule.

Multiple-step Art Fabrication

When a project requires scanning, rapid prototyping or milling, finishing, and or casting, some clients prefer that they tell us what they want and we deliver the finished product, or some portion thereof. We call this "the magic handoff", the ideal point at which for us to complete our scope of work, and put the project back in the hands of the customer, subject to the customer's skill set and resources. We can deliver from a rough foam armature to a finished bronze or anything in between.

Large Scale Scanning Projects

Some unique scanning projects require external resources that must be sourced and secured by Direct Dimensions in order to complete the work. Our expansive industry relationships and technical knowledge make this a seamless part of our services. Logistics, travel, and resource scheduling all fall into our area of responsibility when we contract for the end deliverable and schedule.
