Digital Sculpting

Direct Dimensions' digital artists are trained in both traditional and digital sculpture. Digital sculpting comes in play as part of the digital modeling workflow, often as a way to clean up a model. In addition, we use digital sculpting to modify scanned objects to achieve a desired aesthetic (under the artist's direction) or to create a digital object from scratch. Furthermore, digital sculpting empowers digital restoration of organic objects.
