3D Archive: The Iwo Jima Memorial

The Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial, the world's tallest bronze statue at the time of its installation, honors all personnel of the United States Marine Corps who have died fighting for their country. The massive sculpture, designed by Felix de Weldon based on the iconic photo of Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima, was dedicated by President Eisenhower in 1954 and sits just outside the Arlington National Cemetery.
