Face Scanning Portraiture: Ray Lewis Bust
The Ray Lewis Foundation strives "to be the catalyst for positive development in our Nation's youth and young adults through a sustainable methodology that instills core values in academics, athletics, financial literacy, environmental issues, and personal life skills".
Direct Dimensions had the privilege of scanning the legendary football star to create a life-size marble bust that was later auctioned for $7,000 at the 2nd Annual Ray Lewis Foundation Cocktail Party and Auction. The one-of-a-kind bust brought in the highest bid made amongst an array of autographed sports memorabilia. Direct Dimensions worked closely with the US Army's Advanced Design and Manufacturing Team, American Resin Castings and John Lanzalotti, MD to create the bust for a great local cause. return to full slide show The Challenge:
