3D digital Technology for Sculptors, Fabricators, Galleries, Conservators, and Museums.
What do these tools do?
3D Scanning - Like cameras capture 2D images, 3D scanning technology captures 3D data that records 3D objects with dimensional accuracy
Digital Modeling- A "Digital Model" is like a digital picture that you look at on a computer, except it represents a complete object that can be viewed from all angles, rotated, animated or manufactured. Digital Modeling is the creation of these models either from 3D data, or from a 3D design package.
Visualization - Once a design is complete and a digital model exists, visualization tools enable photo-realistic renderings, virtual fly-throughs, animation, and technical simulations and deviation analysis.
Digital Fabrication- Digital models are exact digital blueprints that work with a variety of machines that can reproduce the model in any scale and many materials.
